3.2 PTR Gem Yumminess
Remember, things on the PTR can change daily so nothing is in stone.
Here are some additions to both Jewelcrafting AND Alchemy.
There are new epic gems. They are all listed on MMO-Champion along with the new cuts that will be available.
You can now exchange badges and honor for the new epic gems.
Badges
15 Emblems of Heroism
Honor
10K honor
Another way to get the new gems is through prospecting TItanium Ore. Informal testing breaks down the gem rate as:
Epic: 25%
Rare: 25%
Uncommon: 150%
Titanium Powder: 75%
Titanium Powder can be turned in for JC Tokens to purchase the new recipes.
Alchemists can also transmute blue gems into epic gems. The current breakdown (there is currently no cooldown on the transmute but I would expect that to change):
3 Sky Sapphires -> 1 Majestic Zircon (blue)
3 Twilight Opals -> 1 Dreadstone (purple)
3 Forest Emeralds -> 1 Eye of Zul (green)
1 Majestic Zircon +2 Eternal Shadow -> 1 Amertrine (orange)
1 Majestic Zircon +2 Eternal Life -> 1 Kings Amber (yellow)
3 Eye of Zul -> 1 Cardinal Ruby (red)****
**** The transmutes are taught by the Alchemy trainer with the exception of Cardinal Ruby which is a quest. The quest for the Cardinal Ruby is to do 5 other Epic Transmutes.
I encourage you to check out the front page of MMO-Champion for a more detailed breakdown of all the new crafting yumminess. It looks like everyone (even us Chefs) got something new.
Alchemists - Pay particular attention to the new recipe, Flask of the North. Notice the comment... "Can be used in Arenas. Not consumed when used". Perma flask GOGOGOGO!

Nephilim Fact #192: Sometimes, when Dchozn isn't in the raid, we kill bosses.

Who wants a Fish Feast?
Fish Feasts will have to suffice until we get the mats for the Yogg-Saron quiche.
Nephilim Fact #174: The trash leading up to Mother Shahraz in Black Temple literally poops out enough epic gems to fill your bags. Twice.

General Vezax Gets Relieved of Duty
Mana? We don't need no stinking mana! General Vezax down and try as we might, Sara would not accept our friendship. Nice work all.
Nephilim Fact #174: Fanvast sees a direct correlation between Macbeth and Darth Vader; he is also willing to explain it on vent using his outside voice.

Mimiron gets Deheaded
Strangely enough this fight wasn't nearly as fun as I thought it would be. I mean, c'mon it has all of the elements to be fun, i.e., robot gnomes, nuclear weapons and I get to tank for a phase. Well, he's deheaded and we have the General in our sights.
Nephilim Fact #167: Jarflock like to use his engineering skills to cut up Mimiron before we can get a killshot.
